Babelon-line is opening up language to everyone

More about who we are

Using our massive database of talents, we can translate virtually any written material in any language combination and format.
If you have a translation project and would like a few pointers, please contact us. We are always a happy to help.

3 specialist areas

Translating on-line learning material is a balancing act. Translators must master the topic at hand to ensure quality; file formats are often unusual ones (xliff, imdl, ...). High word counts also imply substantial spending: it is important to be able to leverage technologies in order to reduce costs.

By leveraging our high-tech SaaS, BabelOn-line makes the process of translation your e-learning/MOOCs projects fluid, painless and cost-efficient. We deliver our translation in their original format, saving you time.

When it comes to business translations, we have covered just about any topic or language combination since 1999. We believe that any projects deserves a translator who can translate the words accurately, but also convey the tone and intent. Our project managers will hand pick a specialist for each job in our database of talents.

We also add value by providing feedback or by helping you tweak the tone to adapt to the intended readership.

Many schools and universities now have to provide multilingual information, emails and documents, both to students and staff (especially in countries where English is used as the communication language).
Our team of specialists is ready to handle the flow of requests, from small communications of a few hundred words to reports and brochure translations. This is what we do routinely with one of the top French business school, processing several hundred thousands words annually.

The translation process

It usually starts with an email or a call. We look at the "source" (the text you want to get translated) and come back to you. We usually quote simple projects within a few hours.

When our quote is formally accepted, your project goes live using our cloud-based solution. This SaaS allows us to offer discounts for repetitions and to keep terminology consistent.

Our project manager keeps in touch with you during the whole process. We inform you if we notice any potential errors in the source text. We then deliver. On time.
